The FW sent to me had a piece of paper about "Fidanza Warranty" but no where on the unit itself is there any markings that match known Fidanza products. Dave from Fidanza tells me that "on the engine side it should have a number etched on it. Like"NIS4 1234". The" NIS" number is the model it fits and the "1234" is the serial number." Comparing the FW sent to me to pictures of know Fidanza units the amount of bolts holding the friction pad in place doesn't match and the body is machined differently. When I called FULL THROTTLE PERFORMANCE they offered to give me a refund but not to cover the costs of shipping it back to them. They could not provide any evidence of it being a genuine Fidanza product. Since these guys post on just about every car forum I have ever been one I would have hoped for them to be legit - seems like I was asking too much.
